Film Making & Direction

Film Making & Direction involves a number of discrete stages including an initial story, idea, or commission, through screenwriting, casting, film directing, cinematography, shooting, sound recording and pre-production, production, editing, film censor, film distribution, film exibition and screening the finished product before an audience that may result in a film release and exhibition. Filmmaking takes place in many places around the world in a range of economic, social, and political contexts, and using a variety of technologies and cinematic techniques. The film director gives direction to the cast and crew and creates an overall vision through which a film eventually becomes realized, or noticed. Directors need to be able to mediate differences in creative visions and stay within the budget. A film director is a person who directs the making of a film. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.

Distributor

A person who distributes the film through the theaters is called film distributor. The distributor buys the distribution rights from the producer, mostly in the intensely start itself (or) sometimes after previewing the colossal clip(trailers). Samir Ganguly is an Indian film director. He also directed many episodes of the television serial Paying Guest. Samir Ganguly complete movie(s) list from 1984 to 1957 all-inclusive: Exclusive complied list with movies like Pakhandee (1984), Marriage Bureau (1984), Phande Baaz (1978), Anjane Mein (1978), Deewangee (1976), Koi Jeeta Koi Hara (1976), Jaggu (1975), Sharmeelee (1971), Shagird (1967), Tumsa Nahin Dekha (1957)

Professor F.R. Khan is a post-graduate diploma holder in motion picture photography from the Film and Television Institute of India 1969 batch. He has an experience of over 45 years in the Indian film industry as a cinematographer. He has worked as a cinematographer & Director of Photography in more than 70 films. He has been associated with Mumbai Film Academy since its inception.

Anil started his career with Pratima Infotainment in the Creative Department for Concept Creation, Development and Execution. He is trained from the Hollywood Director & Bollywood Directors Later he joined Mumbai Film Academy as a Creative Director in the Filmmaking and Direction department. He directed Hindi Feature Film SHAUKEEN KAMINAY under the banner of MFA Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd.

Neeharika Mishra is a trained scriptwriter currently involved in scripting popular TV serials. She is also writing screenplay & dialogues for some big banners. She is very popular among the young Film enthusiasts who are taught right from script to screen.

Param Kalra is an experienced writer formerly worked in story department of mukta arts, Film maker & director currently working for Artha Motion Pictures he worked at the direction department of big screen entertainment. He has directed some of the best short films which participated in international film festivals, He has been associate with Direcor Anurag Kashyap.

Santosh Gour studied cinema at FTTI, Pune. He made his directorial debut with the Film Nirjan Godhuli which received Spectrum India award in the Mumbai International Film Festival. Since then he has been making short films, documentaries. His films have been screened at various international Film festivals.
